Synchronized operation
In synchronized operation, a master fixture playing a stand-alone
program relays instructions via DMX that cause slave fixtures
connected to the master to run an identical synchronized program.
See Figure 25. The synchronized operation settings are in the
Stand-
alone settings
window in MUM.
•
In
Single Fixture
mode, a Tripix runs its stand-alone program and
ignores all other fixtures
•
In
Master
mode, the Tripix sends instructions to slave fixtures so that
they run an identical program to the master
•
In
Synchronized
mode, the Tripix is a slave and obeys instructions
from a master fixture
•
Stand-alone settings in the
Synchronized
pull-down box are applied
to the fixture you connect to using the navigation arrows.
•
Four buttons also allow you to apply synchronized operation settings
to all Tripix fixtures on the DMX link. If you select Set
all as single
fixtures – synchronize sequence and timing selections
, all
fixtures follow the stand-alone program you have set up in MUM:
scene changes are synchronized and wait/fade times are identical.

Important! Set only one fixture on the link as master or fixtures
may be damaged.
