7.1.3 COM 2 RS232C Port
The COM 2 port uses a male DB-9 connector wired as a DTE (Data Terminal Equipment). This port can be
connected to either a external PC or the DUT. A "null modem" cable must be used when connecting this
port to a PC.
7.1.3.1 COM 1 RS-232C CONNECTOR PIN ASSIGNMENTS.

7.1.4 Baud Rate Selection
7.1.4.1 COM 1 BAUD RATE.
Enter the following key sequence to change the COM 1 baud rate: MENU | Preferences | COM 1 RS-232 |
Baud Rate, and then select the desired baud rate from the list.
After selecting the baud rate, this value is retained in non-volatile memory and need not be re-selected as
long as the same baud rate is desired.
7.1.4.2 COM 2 BAUD RATE.
Enter the following key sequence to change the COM 2 baud rate: MENU | Preferences | COM 2 RS-232 |
Baud Rate, and then select the desired baud rate from the list.
After selecting the baud rate, this value is retained in non-volatile memory and need not be re-selected as
long as the same baud rate is desired.
