Bluetooth
Some of the PerFormans and stakeout applications are using bluetooth to communicate with the gnss
receiver. To set up the bluetooth connection, you must go to Main Menu > GNSS > GNSS device and select
Reach Emlid.
Connecting and pairing bluetooth
Go into Main menu > GNSS > Bluetooth and press the bluetooth icon in the top
Now you will start a search process, searching for the unit among any nearby devices
When the unit is located the device name will show up. In the below example the unit name is
“
Reach-mesa3”
Press the device name to connect to the device. In the bluetooth menu you will see the bluetooth address.
Press Ok to establish a connection.
Pay attention to the GNSS icon in the top
With this icon connection to the GNSS device still waiting to
be established, this might take 2-3 minutes when all LED’ s on the GNSS device is turned on with a solid
light. When a connection has been established, the GNSS indicator changes to this icon
The
connection has been established. You will see the warnings “No position from main antenna” When the
receiver is tracking available satellites and “No RTK Correction” until the device has connected to the Ntrip
server and established a RTK fix position.
Pole
In this menu, you can enter different offsets for pole length. If you are working with several
different pole lengths, it is possible to store several poles for later use
When a pole with a height is selected, this height is added to the measured GNSS height.
