4 Fully retract the pit jack and then extend it again. If the piston rod moves
smoothly, the bleeding is complete.
5 A slight jerking (in the millimeter range) of the piston rod can be quite normal;
this may occur when the seal set is replaced and normalizes within a few
operating hours.
6 If the piston rod still does not move smoothly, bleed the air as often as
necessary until smooth movement is achieved.
CAUTION
The bleeding process will cause the hydraulic oil to heat up. The surface
temperature of the oil tank should not exceed 55°C. Allow the hydraulic oil to
cool down and continue the bleeding process at a later time.
Observe the tightening torque of the screw (C) of 85 Nm!
