Chapter 3:
Assembling Windrower
Once the various shipping assemblies have been unloaded and separated, the windrower can be assembled into field
position.
3.1
Lowering Steps
Lowering the steps allows safe and easy access to the cab. The drive wheel lug nuts are stored in the cab.

1.
Locate the left steps. Remove stop bolt (A) and discard it.
2.
Loosen pivot bolts (B) at both sides of steps (C).

3.
Lower left steps (A) to the working position.
4.
Ensure that clips (B) are engaged in the steps.
5.
Tighten pivot bolts (C) to 95 Nm (70 lbf·ft).
