Auto power-off
The transceiver can be set to automatically turn
OFF after a specifi ed period with a beep when no
key operations are performed.
• 30 min., 1 hour, 2 hours and OFF (default) can be
specifi ed. The specifi ed period is retained even
when the transceiver is turned OFF by the auto
power-off function. To cancel the function, select
“POF.OF” in this

Repeater lock-out
Selects lockout type from repeater, busy and OFF.
• RLO.OF: No lockout is activated. (default)
• RLO.RP: The repeater lockout is turned ON.
• RLO.bU: The busy lockout is turned ON.
Squelch delay
Selects squelch delay from short and long to
prevent repeated opening and closing of the
squelch during reception of the same signal.
• Sqt. S: The squelch closes in short delay. (default)
• Sqt. L: The squelch closes in long delay.
DTMF rate
The rate at which DTMF memories send individual
DTMF characters can be set to accommodate
operating needs.
• 1: 100 msec. interval; 5.0 cps rate (default)
• 2: 200 msec. interval; 2.5 cps rate
• 3: 300 msec. interval; 1.6 cps rate
• 5: 500 msec. interval; 1.0 cps rate
