Background.MDB  –  Stores  background  values  for  all  active 
RPMs once every minute. 

 

EventLog.MDB – Stores information about the current status of 
the software and RPMs.   

The databases can be configured to be automatically archived at midnight to a 

user-specified  drive.  During  the  archive  process  the  free  space  on  the  hard 
drive is checked. If the amount of free space drops below 20%, the archived 

databases  and  image  files  are  automatically  purged  beginning  with  the  oldest 
data first. 

If the RCM4300 Ethernet board is installed instead of the RCM3700, the RPM 
has  the  ability  to  log  data  to  an  internal  SD  card  in  the  event  that 

communication is lost with the Supervisor computer.  Once communication is 
restored, the logged data is automatically transferred.
