Connecting the WaveLAN/EC-S

WaveLAN/EC-S User’s Guide

To mount the WaveLAN/EC-S, proceed as follows:

Determine a position for the WaveLAN/EC-S device that:

■

Is close enough to both the power outlet and computing
device to prevent strain on the cable and power cord
attached to the device.

■

Allows the integrated antenna of the WaveLAN IEEE PC
Card to radiate freely, to ensure optimal transmission and
receiving quality.

Secure the mounting bracket to the desired mounting surface
using either the mounting screws or the adhesive pads
provided.

Snap the WaveLAN/EC-S onto mounting bracket.

Follow the installation instructions on Chapter 3 to complete
the installation of the WaveLAN/EC-S to your terminal device.
