If a new i s to be fitted for reason complete kit, Part N o . w i l l
be required for each screen.
TO
REMOVE
For windscreen remove the wiper sun visors, upper
front heodlining trim finisher and pull off trim. For the
glass
remove the electrical connections to the glass heater.
Remove the finishers from around the glass. These can be removed
b y prising off, which w i l l damage the finishers, therefore, new
w i l l be required when refitting.

D r i l l small diameter hole through the material, near the
'A'
post joint to the body. Insert a length of piano wire (or similar)

metre) long through the hole. W i t h the aid of a
second operator inside the car, use a sawing action with the wire cut
through the to free the screen. Take care not to
damage the interior trim during the cutting operation.
4. Remove remaining material and the trim clips. Wipe
the body with spirit or similar until the surface i s perfectly
clean.

REPLACE
glass primer over the cleaned flange area, f i t new trim clips
and where a

licable seal the pop rivet heads. Wipe over pap rivets and
clips with Wipe Cleaner N o .

Mark position with tape from glass to body, cut tape so that relocation

correct position can be achieved b y lining up on tape:
