Pull off the sparking plug

and

the plugs.

Cleon the plugs and reset the

re-connect the leads.

Remove the ignition distributor cop and examine the contact-breaker points.

Replace the points

Adjust the

Remove the air cleaner element

Disconnect the fuel feed pipe at the carburetters ond check

carburetters are fitted proceed as follows:

Remove floot chamber cover

withdraw the float assembly.

Remove a l l jets

Remove the needle valve

Clean

and float chamber using clean petrol.

Replace a l l jets, needle valve body and needle valve.

When ZENITH-STROMBERG carburetters are fitted proceed as follows:

Remove the carburetters from the engine and carefully place on a

clean bench.

(b)

Release centre-plug from the base of each carburetter.

(c)

Remove floot chambers by releasing the retaining screws and with-

drawing in

vertical

to ovoid

Remove float chomber
