3rd and 4th Gear Selector

Place the first interlock plunger in from the opening at

(F)

figure

and

locate i n the

1st

and 2nd selector shaft notch.

Insert the gear selector shaft through the gearbox outer casting, f i t

ball and spring as previously described, the operating fork and into the

differential end of the gearbox

taking care to correctly locate the

small plunger inside the front end of the selector shaft.

Locate the operating fork on the selector shaft so that the notch

with the

hole and screw down the grub screw, lock with wire.

ensure that the fitted selector shafts are located i n the 'neutral' position.
