3 .

Remove the carpet i n the

which covers the access hole to the pivot

bolt.

4 .

Remove the

securing the pivot bolt

withdraw the pivot bolt through

the hole i n the bulkhead.

Reverse the removal procedure taking care t o ensure the washers are fitted

i n the correct order. Before tightening the

ensure the suspension

is under normal

conditions (upper wishbone and lower l i n k horizontal).

This

w i l l ensure that the damper bushes i n the front suspension are i n an

almost tonionless state, when the front suspension

i s

normally loaded.

Tighten a l l

to the torque

i n the

DATA.

To Remove

Remove the road wheel.

Unscrew brake

and support the assembly ensuring that the flexible

hose is not kinked.

3 .

Lever off hub cap and remove split p i n from the castle nut.

Unscrew castle nut, remove together with washer.

5 .

thdrawthe hub

together with brake disc from the

l i n k .

To Replace

F i t a new sealing ring t o the hub and

onti- friction bearing grease t o

a l l bearing races

the friction surface o f the sealing ring; also

fill

the

hub cavity.

2 .

Reverse the removal procedure and tighter: a l l

t o the torque

specified i n the TECHNICAL DATA. Adjust the hub end float t o

the figure also given i n the TECHNICAL DATA.

3 .

Rotate the hub while tightenin

the hub spindle nut t o bed-in the taper

rollers. Lock the hub nut with a new split p i n

f i t the dust cover.

WARNING:

When f i t t i n g the brake caliper moke sure the flexible hose

i s

not twisted or kinked.
