GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The i s a single unit comprising a manual 5 speed gearbax, directly
t o a differential drive a clutch containing the clutch
operating mechanism.
The gearbox has five forward gears with synchromesh operation on forward
mesh), while the reverse gear i s of the spur gear.
The output shaft of the gearbox ends i n a pinion which engages the crown wheel i n
the differential.
Four shafts are fitted across the top of the gearbox far the 1st and
2nd
gears, for the 3rd and 4th gears, far the 5th gear and one far the reverse
gear. Selector forks are attached t o the shafts and are moved into position far gear
selection b y the lever through the gearbax crass-shaft.
The lever operation controls functions on the gearbox
