Installation of full gas cylinders involves the re-
verse sequence. Please ensure here that:
– the screw coupling (2) to the safety valve is leak
proof;
– the gas cylinder(s) is/are secured with the safe-
ty strap(s) to prevent twisting;
– the gas cylinder compartment is securely
locked.
Gas shut-off valves
The shut-off valves are located in a visible position
on the kitchen panel or else under the kitchen
drawer in the cupboard.
5 – shut-off valve for gas cooker
6 – shut-off valve for refrigerator
7 – shut-off valve for heater
Warning!
In the interests of your own safety it is imperative
that you obey the following instructions:
– Under no circumstances should the gas instal-
lation be connected to the town or long-dis-
tance gas supply.
– No changes may be made to the gas installa-
tion.
– For safety reasons, every two years and after
every occasion that the gas screw couplings
have been opened it is imperative that the
equipment is checked to ensure that it is leak-
tight and in proper working order by profes-
sional persons authorised to carry out such
checks.
– The gas hose between pressure regulator and
gas installation must be checked at regular in-
tervals. In the event of an actual escape of gas
or an assumed leakage it must be replaced im-
mediately. Care must be taken here to ensure
that the new hose complies with the standard
printed on the old hose.
– The ventilation of the bottom of the gas cylinder
compartment must not be sealed up (e.g.
through slush or cleaning cloths), in order that in
the event of a leakage the gas can flow out. The
ventilation on the bottom of this compartment
must be checked at regular intervals.
