Gas cylinder system
The gas cylinder system is designed for an oper-
ating pressure of
30 mbar
. The gas unit supplies
gas to the gas cooker, the heating and the re-
frigerator. The gas cylinders to be used are not
included in the scope of supply.
Gas cylinder compartment
The gas cylinder compartment that is accessible
from outside can accommodate a maximum of
two gas cylinders (11 kg). Each gas cylinder has a
separate mounting with an appropriate safety
strap. It is only possible for one gas cylinder to be
connected at a time.
Exception
: the automatic switching device that
can be obtained as an optional extra allows two
gas cylinders to be connected simultaneously.
The gas cylinder connected must be fitted with a
safety valve and a pressure regulator that reduces
the operating pressure to 30 mbar.
To change the gas cylinder
– Open the gas cylinder compartment.
– Close the main shut-off valve (1).
– Loosen the coupling nut (2) by turning to the
right.
– Release safety strap (4) on the gas cylinder that
is to be replaced.
– Loosen the safety strap (4) until the gas cylinder
can be taken out.

After taking out the gas cylinder, screw valve nut
to the connecting thread of the cylinder valve and
pull the protective cover which goes with the gas
cylinder over the cylinder valve.
The gas cylinder mounting units are designed for
either 5 or 11 kg.
