Installation of emergency escape ladder
The ladder is a means of emergency evacuation, not a standard point of access.
During regular operation, the platform is to be lowered completely an accessed via the door from ground
level.
WARNING
Fall hazard
If the ladder guide rail is not secured correctly or the guide is structurally damaged, the operator may fall.
Check ladder guide at the beginning of each shift for damage and structural integrity.
Succession
Insert ladder guide (Pos.1) into ladder holder at platform (Pos. 2) an secure with linchpin (Pos.3).
Insert ladder (Pos.4) into ladder attachment at the platform base (Pos. 5) and secure with pin (Pos. 6).
Check lateral play of ladder at the ladder guide (max. 6 mm).
The play between ladder guide and guide rail must be less than 6mm.
Preplace worn or bent parts immediately.
