Reading gate number
Module 36
The module defines input data for the communication of the number of reading gates since
system start. This number is not necessarily the same as the number of reading gate acti-
vations. In the case of low quality programming, several activation commands may be sent
for one reading gate. The modules 35 and 36 are usually used together to recognise
programming errors through the deviation of these two values.

The module defines input data for the total number of scans which were required for the
previous reading gate.

The BCL transmits the current reading gate number.
The reading gate number is initialised with the system
start and is then incremented continuously. At 65535,
an overflow occurs and the counter starts afresh
from 0.
