Node guarding protocol
Life guarding event
The "life guarding event" is triggered in the NMT slave if the slave has not received an RTR
telegram from the NMT master within the node life time:
In the Lenze setting, the NMT slave changes from the "Operational" communication
status into the "Pre-Operational" communication status.

An emergency telegram with the emergency error code 0x8130 is transmitted to the
NMT master.
The response parameterised in

is executed (Lenze setting: "No
response").
Node guarding event
The "node guarding event" is triggered in the NMT master if the master has not received
any response to its RTR telegram from the requested NMT slave within the node life time
or if the toggle bit in the response telegram has not changed within the node life time.
In the Lenze setting, the NMT master changes from the "Operational" communication
status into the "Pre-Operational" communication status.

can be set.
