5. Both sides of the SD module support the installation of an SD card. If any SD card is installed, remove

the card.

6. Remove the SD module from the server chassis if necessary.

7. If you are instructed to return the old SD module, follow all packaging instructions and use any

packaging materials that are supplied to you for shipping.

Installing the SD module

To install the SD module, do the following:

1. Prepare your server and remove the server cover. See “Preparing your server in advance and removing

the server cover” on page 53.

2. Insert the SD card into the SD card slot. The card might stop before it is completely installed into the SD

module. Ensure that you insert the card firmly until you hear a click.
