PC/PLC SETUP
The instrument works as
adapter
in an Ethernet/IP network and features a dual port that allows to
exchange the weight and the main parameters with an Ethernet/IP
scanner
.
Use one of the following communication types.
CLASS 1 CONNECTION (implicit messages)
Refer to one of the following procedures to configure the communication with the instrument:
-
load the eds file attached to the instrument to the Ethernet/IP
scanner
development system
(see table “32-BIT RUN/IDLE HEADER” for the output data interface);

use a generic Ethernet/IP module: configure it with the parameters of the table “Parameters
for class 1 communication” and choose the real-time transfer format from instrument to
scanner (Target to Originator – T2O) between “32-BIT RUN/IDLE HEADER” and “PURE
DATA” (see the respective tables for the output data interface).
