ISOKINETIC CALIBRATION
This procedure is done in conjunction with an isokinetic sample or
samples, being taken at the same time and under the same conditions as
the measurements being taken by the Model 4500 Premier.
On selection press the ‘ENTER’ (
↵ ↵↵

) key. Two further sub-menus are
available ‘Acquire’ and ‘Calculate’. Select the required sub-menu using
the
↑
and
↓
keys.
Acquire (Isokinetic Calibration sub-menu)
From the Isokinetic Calibration sub-menu press the ’ENTER' (
↵ ↵↵ ↵↵
) key, as
previously described, to display 'Acquire'. This screen allows access to
the acquisition mode. Press the ‘ENTER’ (
↵ ↵↵
↵↵
) key again and thereafter
the next two steps. The user can follow the subsequent, self
explanatory start/stop displays to be timed to occur instantaneously
with the isokinetic sampling.
Finally the display shows the Average O.D. (Optical Density) value read
by Model 4500 Premier, this is automatically stored by the instrument.
