Processing data
The printer is processing data, or the printer is waiting
for a code or command that the job is over.
(In this example, the printer’s cassette is selected).
Adding paper
The cassette is empty.
Add paper to the paper cassette or add a sheet of
paper to the manual feed tray.
(In this example, the printer’s cassette is selected).
Selecting paper size
The ON LINE/A4, DATA/LTR, MANUAL/LGL, and
CASSETTE/OTHERS indicators are toggled to light
one after another as the
SHIFT
+
FEED/SIZE
key is
pressed repeatedly.
Sleeping
The printer has entered the sleeping mode. The on-line
mode is restored when any of the keys is pressed or
data is sent to the printer.
Manual feed
Paper is set on the manual feed tray after data is sent
to the printer. To start printing, press the
ON LINE/
STATUS
key (twice).
