Receive mode setting
Select the automatic reception mode.
1. Select [Receive Mode (Reception mode)] using the
cursor up/down keys and press the enter key.
2. Select [Fax Reception], [Auto Fax/Tel SW] or
[D.R.D.].
[D.R.D.] will not be displayed in the metric version.
3. When selecting [D.R.D.], select the desired ring
pattern.
RX date/time setting
Select whether or not you want information to be printed
out at the top edge of received documents.
1. Select [RX Date/Time] using the cursor up/down
keys and press the enter key.
2. Select [On] or [Off].
Fax paper feeding tray setting
Select from among the three available modes for feeding
paper to print out all documents that are received when
the fax is in the fax operation mode.
1. Select [PaperFeed Sel.] using the cursor up/down
keys and press the enter key.
2. Select [Auto Selection], [Fix Size] or [Fix Cassette].
When selecting [Fix Size], select the paper size and
cassette.
When selecting [Fix Cassette], select the cassette.
2 in 1 RX setting
1. Select [2 in 1 RX (2-up RX)] using the cursor up/
down keys and press the enter key.
2. Select [On] or [Off].
Remote diagnosis setting
Set to take advantage of our remote diagnosis system.
1. Select [Remote Diag. (Remote diagn.)] using the
cursor up/down keys and press the enter key.
2. Select [On] or [Off].
Reception size setting
Set whether receive faxes at the same size or a reduced
size.
1. Select [RX size (Reception size)] using the cursor
up/down keys and press the enter key.
2. Select [Zoom(Reduce)] or [100%].
Fax bulk reception setting
1. Select [Fax Bulk RX] using the cursor up/down
keys and press the enter key.
2. Select [On] or [Off].
Duplex RX setting
When the width of each page received is exactly the
same, the documents will be printed onto the front and
back sides of that size of paper.
1. Select [Duplex RX (2-sided RX)] using the cursor
up/down keys and press the enter key.
2. Select [On] or [Off].
Turning network fax reception ON/OFF
1. Select [NW-FAX RX.] using the cursor up/down
keys and press the enter key.
2. Select [On (Local Print ON)], [On (Local print OFF)]
or [Off].
Turning the save transmitted documents function
ON/OFF
1. Select [Save TX Ori.] using the cursor up/down
keys and press the enter key.
2. Select [On] or [Off].
Selecting the file type
1. Select [File Format (File type)] using the cursor up/
down keys and press the enter key.
2. Select [PDF] or [TIFF].
