To check the version of the ROM on the fax control PWB.
Method
1. Press the start key. The version of the ROM on the fax control PWB is displayed.

Setting the software switches
Description
Sets the software switches on the fax control PWB individually.
Purpose
Use to change the setting when a problem such as split output of received originals occurs. Since the commu-
nication performance is largely affected, normally this setting need not be changed.
Method
1. Press the start key.
2. Enter the desired software switch number (3 digits) using the numeric keys and press the start key.
3. Use numeric keys 7 to 0 to switch each bit between 0 and 1.
4. Press the start key to set the value.
Completion
Press the stop/clear key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.
