Check the rework system on a weekly basis for any dirt or damages.
8.1 Check the rework system on a weekly basis for any dirt or damages.
Check the following machine parts for dirt and damage on a weekly basis. If dirt is
visible, clean these parts as indicated here. Clean without scrubbing and never
work with hard or sharp objects!
Switch off the Rework System by the main switch before any cleaning and mainten-
ance work!
CAUTION
Risk of burning due to heated machine parts and PCB!
All heated machine parts as well as the surrounding housing parts and product sup-
port frame, the circuit board and the components become hot even during warm-up
to the process temperature [Tinit]!
Parts are particularly hot during the soldering process! After the soldering process,
wait until the device and the PCB have cooled down and reached non-hazardous tem-
peratures!

Upper and lower Visionbox glasses:
a) Slide both the heating head and Visionbox to the right.
b) Clean the glass panels with a lint-free cloth and a commercial glass cleaner.

Component tray:
a) Clean component trays with a lint-free cloth.

If heavily soiled with flux or solder paste: Use a cleaning agent recommen-
ded by the flux or solder paste manufacturer.

Clean the mirror plate on the optional RPC camera
a) Place the RPC camera in a suitable position.
b) Clean the mirror plates with a lint-free cloth and a commercial glass cleaner.

If heavily soiled with flux or solder paste: Use a cleaning agent recommen-
ded by the flux or solder paste manufacturer.

Housing parts:
a) Clean all housing parts with a soft, lint-free cloth and a household detergent.
ü
Check ceramic parts in the heating head:
a) Check the ceramic parts on the bottom side of the heating head for defects and
deformation, and the heating coils in the ceramic parts for defects. Replace
when damaged.
