10. Position joint ring 400.01 in the intermediate piece and secure against falling
using a commercially available contact adhesive (e.g. Pattex).
11. Protect the magnets in outer rotor 818.02 with a suitable non-metallic cover.
12. Hold the motor in place in a horizontal position.
13. For reassembly, screw a rod with a suitable thread into threaded connecting
element 905.
14. On the outer rotor, mark the position of the keyway on the hub face and the
position of the shaft seal ring’s mounting holes using a felt-tip pen.
15. Slide the outer rotor onto the motor shaft as far as possible. The marking must
be aligned with the key on the motor shaft.
16. Slide disc 550.08 onto the threaded rod.
17. Fit a suitable nut on the threaded rod using a socket wrench (of sufficient
length) and use this to slide the outer rotor completely onto the shaft.
18. Remove the threaded rod including nut and disc from threaded connecting
element 905.
19. Secure the outer rotor with hexagon socket head cap screw 914.08 and disc
550.08. Tighten hexagon socket head cap screw 914.08 to the torques given in
this manual, (
Section 7.6, Page 74) holding outer rotor 818.02 with a belt
wrench if necessary.
20. Screw shaft seal ring 430.01 into intermediate piece 132.03 with hexagon socket
head cap screws 914.01, working through the outer rotor flange.
