3. Once filling has been completed, close screw plug 903.80 (connection 10F) and
screw plug 903.Z6 (connection 5B).
4. Connect the cooling water supply to connections 7A and 7E at the heat
exchanger.
Priming the hydraulic
system
1. Vent the pump and suction line and prime both with the fluid to be handled.
2. Fully open the shut-off element in the suction line.
3. Fully open all auxiliary connections (barrier fluid, flushing liquid, etc.).
4. Check whether the rotor space and the heat exchanger are still completely
filled, re-fill if necessary.

Flush the pump set with an inert gas before priming it with the fluid to be
handled.
DANGER
Impermissibly high temperatures; dry-running of the plain bearings
Damage to plain bearings and magnetic coupling!
Explosion hazard!

The pump must deliver fluid immediately. If fluid is not delivered immediately,
switch off the pump and repeat the venting procedure.
