16.1 Adjusting the swing range of the bars

ü The machine is in the working position.
„
Raise the machine slightly via the hydraulics.
„ Securely support the machine using a suitable support (e.g. jack stand), see Page 24 .
„
Slightly retract the cylinder (3) via the control unit on the tractor.
„
Loosen the counter nut (2).
„ Adjust the connecting rod (1):
• Shortening the connecting rod = smaller swing range
• Lengthening the connecting rod = greater swing range
„ Tighten the counter nut (2).

The machine is in the transport position.
ü
The machine is parked on a stable, horizontal and even surface.
ü The machine is parked on the support jacks.
ü
The transport width is reduced, see Page 66 .
Perform the adjustments on the left and the right machine side.
„ Loosen the screw (2)

Move the hoop guard (1) in the oblong hole until the hoop guard is at an angle of
approx. 90° to the ground.
„
Tighten the screw(2).
„
Check to ensure that the distance from the lower edge of the black and yellow marking to
the ground is not greater than X
