8.7 Operating the hydraulic border spreading system

Border spreading conveys the crops away from the edge of the field. The machine runs
diagonally behind the tractor.

The machine is in the working position, see Page 58 .
The adjusting lever (1) is in the central position at (I) on the indicator.
„ Move the single-acting control unit (2+) to float position until the adjusting lever (1) is in
position (II) on the indicator.

The crops can be conveyed away from the left-hand edge of the field.
„ Actuate the single-acting control unit (2+) until the adjusting lever (1) is in position (III) on the
indicator.
ð
The crops can be conveyed away from the right-hand edge of the field
NOTE! Periodically extend the hydraulic cylinder completely to maintain the pressure in
the accumulator.

To keep the load on the wheels as low as possible, avoid taking bends too tightly when the
border spreading system is set.
8.8 Field mode on slopes
