The AUTOMATIC REVERSING brake system
with wheel brake

System 2000

A) General notes

These notes are part of the guarantee terms.
Our guarantee does not cover normal wear or defects
caused by overloading or alteration.
The brake system consists of design-approved individual
components which must not be altered without our
approval.
Individual components of the AUTOMATIC REVERSING
system must not be combined with other makes.

B) How the AUTOMATIC REVERSING

system functions

The method of operation and function of the AUTOMATIC
REVERSING system basically corresponds to the
conventional proven overrunning brake.
The mechanical blocking procedure is eliminated by the
elimination of the reversing blocking lever.
A special brake shoe support in the wheel brake eliminates
the braking function when reversing. This ensures that
reversing is always unproblematical, even on slopes.
The normal braking function is available immediately for
forward travel.
The associated overrunning device is equipped with a
progressively acting hydraulic shock absorber. This
provides generally smooth driving and braking. Due to this
coordination, all individual components, wheel brake,
transmission and overrunning brake function more
smoothly.

Every brake system requires regular
servicing. Correct function is only
available if the brake system (wheel
brakes and transmission device) is set
correctly!
