HYDRAULIC BLOCK STANDARD GL AND L TYPES
VALVE UNIT FOR
DOUBLE-ACTING
TAILGATE CYLINDER
WITH
GL TYPES
Examples:
Lower pick-up
• Screw out slotted screw S2 at the front side on the
control block as far as possible.
Raise pick-up
• Screw out slotted screw S2 as far as possible.
• At the same time use a pointed object (2) to operate the
tappet of the "raise pick-up" solenoid.
• Screw slotted screw back in.
Open tailgate (L types)
• Screw out slotted screw S3 as far as possible.
• At the same time use a pointed object (2) to operate the
tappet of the "raise" solenoid.
• Screw slotted screw back in.
Keep a safe distance when carrying out
these tasks! Switch off PTO shaft!
The solenoid valve block with standard
operation (with Titan 4/32 L only)
is located at the front end of the wagon on the right
under the guard box.
The valves are provided with «emergency manual
operation» in the event of complete power failure.
Operation of the floor conveyor valve is carried out by
using a pointed object to press it in (see (2)).
Emergency operation of the valves for pick-up etc. is
carried out by screwing the slotted screw out by approx.
1.5 turns. The lower slotted screw must be screwed out,
the upper slotted screw merely serves to secure the lower
one (see (1)).
The solenoid valve block with convenient
operation (Titan 4/32 L only)
is located at the front end of the wagon on the right
under the guard box.
On tractors with a closed hydraulic system (e.g. John
Deere) the slotted screw, which is located at the bottom on
the valve for floor conveyor switching (see arrow (1) page
25), must be screwed in fully before connecting, i.e.
without oil circulation. To do this, release the counter nut
(K) and use a screwdriver to screw the slotted screw in
fully. Then retighten the counter nut (K).
On tractors with a «normal hydraulic system» the
slotted screw (1) must be screwed out by 10-12 mm.
This dimension is set at the factory.
The valves are provided with «emergency manual
operation» in the event of complete power failure.
• Operation of the floor conveyor functions is carried out
by using a pointed object (2) to push in the tappets on
the end faces of the solenoids.
• The seat valves for cylinder functions (pick-up,
articulated drawbar etc.) are operated by screwing out
the corresponding slotted screw S2-S6 as far as possible
to open a bypass which allows lowering to occur.
To extend the cylinder, the corresponding slotted screw
S2-S6 is similarly screwed out as far as possible and
additionally a pointed object (2) is used to operate the
tappet of the "raise" solenoid. The required combination
can be seen in the function chart.
• After the function has been carried out, the slotted
screw must be screwed back in again.
