Replacing the Tray 1 Separation Roller

Remove the Multi Bypass Unit.

See P.57

Remove the Screw [1], and remove
the Ground terminal [2].

Remove the Screw [3], and remove
the Tray 1 Separation Roller Assy [4].

Snap off the C-clip [5], and remove
the spring [6] and the guide plate [7].
Remove the Tray 1 Separation Roller
[8].

To reinstall, reverse the order of
removal.

NOTE
• Replace the Tray 1 Feed Roller

(Bypass) and the Tray 1 Separation
Roller at the same time.
