FUSIBLE LINK
NOTICE
When replacing the fuse, make sure to turn the starting switch to OFF position, and then disconnect the
negative (-) terminal of the battery.
For the machines equipped with a battery disconnect switch, set the battery disconnect switch to OFF
position.
If the following phenomena occur, fusible links are suspected of disconnection. Open the dirt cover, check and
replace it if necessary.
• If the starting motor does not operate even when the start-
ing switch is turned to START position, the fusible link (1),
(2), or (4) may be broken.
• Fusible link (3) is suspected of disconnection if it is hard to
start the engine even after the engine preheating has been
performed when temperature is low.
REMARK
A fusible link is the large-sized fuse wiring installed in the high
current flowing part of the circuit.
It protects electrical parts and wiring from burning out due to
abnormal current, in the same way as an ordinary fuse.
