PROCEDURES FOR CLOSING UPPER CAB FRONT WINDOW

CAUTION
When closing the front window (upper side), lower it slowly and be careful not to get your hand caught.
1.
Stop the machine on a level ground, lower the work equipment to the ground, then stop the engine.
2.
Set the lock lever securely to LOCK position (L).
Be sure to operate the lock lever by the operating portion
on the top.
3.
Hold the right and left handles (1) at the center part of front
window (inside). When holding the handle (1), put your
thumb on the handle lock (2).
4.
While pushing the handle locks (2) forward with your
thumb, pull down the right and left handles (1) to open the
front window.
5.
Hold the right and left handles (1), and lower the front win-
dow slowly forward slantwise.
6.
When the bottom of the window touches to the top of lower
window, push the right and left handles (1) forward, and
push them against the right and left stoppers (3) to fix
them securely.
7.
Check that the handle locks (2) are securely fixed.
When pushing the handles (1) forward, check that the han-
dle locks (2) move toward FREE position (F) once and
then return to LOCK position (L).
If they are not fixed, repeat procedure from step 5 until
they are fixed.
REMARK
When lock (4) is in front of stopper (3), you can judge that
it is fixed.
