Select this choice to erase the PCMCIA card in the camera
back. This is the same as selecting all images from the image
window and deleting them by clicking the driver D

button.

Click this button to format the PCMCIA card in the camera
back. This action is similar to formatting a floppy diskette or
hard disk on your computer system. Existing images on the
card are permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
If you are having unexplainable problems with the PCMCIA
card (perhaps you are losing images, or you have been
seeing an “E” followed by a single digit, for example “E2,”
on the camera back LCD), use this feature to reformat the
PCMCIA card and try again.

ECOVER

ISK
Click this button to recover images that have been deleted
from a PCMCIA card in the camera back. The images you
recover may have been previously deleted with:

You cannot use this option to recover the images that were
deleted when you formatted the card with the F

was in each location is recovered.
