7.2.14

External Lock TTL Level

When the searching reference is ‘External Lock Bit’, the ACU receives the lock signal

via the RJ45 console port from the satellite modem. If this lock signal is DC voltage, the

ACU considers 2.6~5VDC as logical high and anything less than 2.6VDC as logical low.

The lock signal varies according to the manufacturer. Logical high is the lock signal in the

HNS modem, whereas iDirect modem’s lock is logical low. Please refer to the modem

manual.
