8. Operation of the Antenna

Antenna Operation Procedure
The VS61 operates as shown in Table 8-1 when the antenna is in a normal state.

Operation
1. ACU Power ON
2. Supply Power
to Antenna
3. ACU Initializing
4. Bluetooth
Connection
5. Step Motor
Initializing
6. Search
the Home Index
7. Search and
Track the Satellite
1. The operator turns power on using the
power switch on the front panel of the ACU.
2. The ACU supplies power (48VDC) to the
antenna via the RX cable.
3. The ACU initializes.
4. Bluetooth of the ACU searches the
Bluetooth of the PCU. A software version of
the ACU and PCU is displayed on the ACU
LCD panel when the Bluetooth connection
succeeds.
5. Step motor (Sensor cage) initializes to
level off the sensor cage.
6. The antenna rotates until the hall sensor
searches the home index.
7. The antenna starts searching and
tracking.
