Equation 1 can be used to estimate the length of the high-flow tube that
is required. For example, if an HPLC method uses a flow of 1.0 mL/min,
using Equation 2 to achieve a flow rate of 1 µL/min in the spraychip 200
(low flow tube).

It is always better to start with a longer piece of tubing (at least
10 cm longer) so that if the low flow rate is too high, the length of the
waste tube can be cut to provide a suitable flow rate.
