11.10 Construction solutions ensuring cleanliness
Access enabling washing and disinfection of the AHU interior is provided by the following technical solutions:
a)
Elongated cooler block with separation of its front cover into two parts, which enables access to the cooler and
droplet separator as well as the block located directly behind the cooler block.
b)
Top cover of the humidifier block (with stepless adjustment), removable from outside, enables access to the hu-
midifier block and block in front of and behind the humidifier (please note not to block an access to this cover and
the humidifier block while connecting the system.
c)
All exchangers (water coolers and heaters) and the humidifier with stepless control are equipped with threaded
connectors. Connection of these elements should be carried out so that it is possible to remove each exchanger
and humidifier from the AHU.
d)
Each AHU set is equipped with drip gutter for inter-
nal washing. The drip gutter is made of stainless
steel sheet.
The drip gutters can be delivered separately and
then they have to be installed during AHU assem-
bly.
Profile assembly, with access to rivet pins for fixing
clamps to the cover.
Stainless steel screws at joints, sealing edges with
sanitary silicone.
Once the AHU is installed the drip connectors of individ-
ual sets should be connected to form a common drip
outlet, running with an appropriate decline.
A gap between the drip gutters of individual sets should
be sealed with silicone.

Lower covers (floor panels) made of stainless
sheet steel are installed to enable while washing
free water flow to the drip gutters.

f)
Top back covers are riveted and sealed with sili-
cone once installed, sharp edges and irregulari-
ties are filled with silicone in order to provide
smooth surface; all fixing elements (filters guides,
exchanger ribs) are covered with silicone in a
similar way. The aim is to eliminate all spots
where hard-to-eliminate bacteria centers may
form.
g)
A silicone gasket has been used in place of rub-
ber gasket for sealing covers and panels.
