e)

The supply for DX coolers is allowed only when air flows through the device.

Opening supply of the cooling medium to the cooler with no heating load can lead to the compressor dam-
age.

f)

In case of floor AHUs with dampers in external version it is necessary to apply actuators with higher protection
class, at least IP54.

g)

The AHU control system should enable turning off the device when the local fire protection system is triggered.

10.  MCK AHUS IN EXTERNAL VERSION

The MCK AHUs can be adapted to operation in external conditions.
Below you can find the specification of differences between the AHU in roof version and standard version:

A. Casing

All gaps between fixed panels, such as covers, and the aluminum framework are filled with sealing silicone.

B. Air intake/air exhaust

Air  intake/air  exhaust  are  constructed  as  a  ventilation  profile  with  mesh  and  guides.  Its  role  is  to  protect  the  air  in-
let/outlet  against  rain,  wind  and  particles  larger  than  10×10 mm.  It is screwed  to  the damper  or  AHU's  profiles.  As-
sembly on the front or other wall (np. side wall) once the AHU is equipped with an empty section. It is possible to in-
stall additional elbows or sections.

C. Dampers

Cut  off  dampers  are  installed  outside  the  AHU.  Such  placement  is  possible  thanks  to  hiding  the  drive  blades  in  a
double  aluminum  profile.  The  damper  actuators  are  covered  with  a  membrane  but  it  is  necessary  to  use  actuators
characterized by higher protection level, at least IP54.

D. Exchangers

Water exchangers (heaters) are equipped with anti-frost protection as the anti-frost thermostat (available only with the
provided complete control system). Connectors of the heaters manifolds can be located inside the AHU to enable in-
stallation  of  supply  and  return  pipelines,  through  the  ceiling  in  a space  between  the  AHU  frame or  inside.  It is also
possible to install the exchanger's control node in an additional section.

E. Roofing

Each set is equipped with a roofing made of galvanized or coated sheet fixed to the AHU frame profile.
The roofing elements set is provided at a separate pallet.
The roofing assembly is carried out once the AHU is located in the destination.

F. Automation control system

The  control  system  provided  is  available  in  external  or  internal
version.
The  external  control  system  switchboard  with  IP65  rating  is
equipped with the heater and thermostat.
Inverters to be installed inside the AHU in the fan section
See the AHU control system OMM to find more info.
