Release Unit Test for Systems with Multiple Release Units
Test each release unit as per instructions in Section 6-6.6.1 above. Start at the master release
unit then each sub-master downstream, when finished testing of the master then leave the
pilot hose from the release unit disconnected, repeat the same for each release unit then on
completion reconnect each hose from each release unit into rear of each valve.

Inspect Flexible Hoses
Inspect actuation and discharge hoses for loose fittings, damaged threads, cracks,
distortion, cuts, dirt. Check pilot hoses for frayed wire braid. If necessary, clean parts as
directed in Section 6-9.1. Replace any damaged parts.
CAUTION
All actuation lines must be removed from the release units prior to testing
to prevent accidental cylinder discharge.
