Before using the device for the first time, disconnect it from the mains for
cleaning. Before you clean the device, it should have cooled down sufficiently
after use. Do not pour out the liquid until it has cooled sufficiently to avoid
scalding.
Never immerse the rice cooker body in water as it may damage it.
Remove the outer lid, inner lid and ceramic pot from the rice cooker body.
The outer lid, inner lid and ceramic pot can be washed with water. (Please
gently wash with a sponge and dishwashing liquid.)
Dry the outer lid, inner lid and ceramic pot well.
Make sure the outer bottom of the clay pot is not wet, then put the clay pot in
the rice cooker body and enjoy cooking.
Only clean the cooker housing with a mild detergent and a damp cloth.
Before you use the parts again, please dry them sufficiently.
Do not clean the device with scouring pads and cleaning agents or aggressive
liquids such as gasoline or acetone.
Clean the surface of the device with a soft cloth or sponge, slightly
warm water and a mild dishwashing detergent. Do not immerse the stove
body in water.
You should not clean the ceramic parts in the dishwasher as this could
damage the ceramic surface. You can clean them under running water and
with a little washing-up liquid. Always clean the parts only when they have
cooled down sufficiently.

IN A FEW STEPS TO PERFECT PREPARATION
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Before using the new ceramic pot for the first time, fill the pot about three quarters full with
water and add about a measuring cup of rice. Put on both lids. Then simmer the rice
porridge over low heat at approx. 70-80°C (in the Slow Cook program) for around 30-60
minutes. Stop cooking and let cool. Discard the rice and rinse the ceramic pot well. Dry the
pot with a clean cloth and dry all parts well before storing the pot and the two lids.
2. Whenever you use the pot, please make sure the bottom is dry.
3. Be careful not to heat the ceramic pot when it is empty.
4. After using the pot, let it cool down before washing. Please don't soak it in water when it's
hot. When cool, gently wash with water. The pot should not be soaked with soap for a long
time. Wipe the pot dry with a clean, dry cloth. It is important to dry it well before storing.
