DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTION OF THE PARTS
Temperature ranges during operation (subject to fluctuations depending on the filled Liquid and
amount of rice): 1- 4 measuring cups
- White rice (Weißer Reis): 101° - 120° C
- Mixed rice (Gemischter Reis): 103° - 111° C
- Quick rice (Quick Reis): 103° - 131° C
- Rice porridge (Reisbrei): 109° - 118° C
- Cook (Kochen): 132°C
- Slow Cook (Low temperature cooking): 60°, 70°, 80° and 90° C
- Keep warm function (Warmhalten) : 45° - 48° C
- Capacity: 2.5L / maximum 4 measuring cups of rice (not cooked) suitable for 1 to 7 people.
- Minimum preparation quantity: 1 half measuring cup (90 ml) of rice with 2 measuring cups (360
ml) of water.
The rice cooker is based on the functionality of the classic Japanese cooking pot, the so-called
donabe, made of heat-resistant ceramic.
The ceramic material of the pot heats up slowly and keeps the heat for a long time.
The double lid with vent holes ensures the right pressure inside and prevents overcooking.
Suitable for gas stoves, ovens and open fires - not for induction, ceramic hobs or cast iron plates.
The ceramic pot can be used without the rice cooker body to bake bread in the oven or to cook
dishes over a gas stove or camp stove.
It is important that the clay pot is completely dry before each use. Residual moisture expands
when heated and can damage the pot as a result.
Ideal for preparing rice, soups, congee and low-temperature dishes (slow cook).
The pot and lids are not dishwasher safe and can easily be cleaned by hand with soap and water.
