OPTIONAL STEAMER INSERT (NOT INCLUDED IN DELIVERY)
The optionally available steamer insert (not included in the scope of delivery) consists of
uncoated clay ceramics and has a usable volume of approx. 2.0 liters.
The height is 6.0 cm on the outside and the outer diameter is 21.2 cm. The usable inner
dimensions are 5 cm high and 20 cm in diameter. The extra large steam holes enable optimal
steam distribution. Be sure to use pot holders for safe removal after the steaming process,
as the clay ceramics can get very hot! To steam, use the Boil program, fill a measuring cup
of water (180ml) into the pot, place the steamer insert on the ceramic pot, put the finely
chopped food into the steamer insert and then place the large ceramic lid on your steamer
insert. Set the cooking program for one (1) hour and start the program. Since the ceramic
pot only heats up slowly, the steaming process only starts after around 15-20 minutes.
You should not clean the ceramic parts in the dishwasher as this could damage the ceramic
surface. You can clean them under running water and with a little washing-up liquid. Always
clean the parts only when they have cooled down sufficiently.
