USING THE CERAMIC POT AND LID
4. Basic operation of "rice quantity" button
After you have selected the "White Rice", "Mixed Rice", "Quick Rice" or "Congee" program, you
must select the "Rice Amount" (indicating the number of measuring cups of rice) in order to start
the program. If you don't select the Rice Amount function, there will be a beep until the Rice
Amount function is selected. The amount of rice does not need to be set in the „Cook“ program.
Note: The volume of a measuring cup is 180 ml up to the top edge (the scale imprint is only 160
ml), there are approx. 150 mg of rice per measuring cup.
After completing a selected cooking program, the rice cooker will beep 5 times in a row and
then go into keep warm mode. The keep warm function button flashes and the elapsed keep
warm time is shown on the display.
When inserting the two lids,
make sure that the steam holes
are not on top of each other.
The vapor holes should be
staggered as shown in the right
image. This ensures that the
pressure is optimally built up in
the ceramic pot and the content
does not foam over.
Be careful not to pinch your
fingers when inserting into the
cooker housing. Be careful.
Make sure that there is no
water on the outside of the
ceramic pot or foreign objects
such as grains of rice on the
heating plate. This can lead to
smoke development and short
circuits.
The ceramic pot and the lids
are suitable for open fire, such
as from a gas stove or camping
grill.
After cooking and cooling the
pot, you can store the food in
the refrigerator. The pot is not
suitable for the freezer.
