Installation and connection
5.1
Required tools and equipment

Galvanised round head screws, depending on the roof structure (Ø: 5 mm, self-tapping screws D 7981,
depending on roof panel structure) or round head screws D 7985 with shims and nuts

● Open-ended or ring spanners 10 and 11 mm across flats

Knife

Cross-head screwdriver for M3 and M5 screws

5.2
Unpacking and Preparation
Caution
Risk of injury. The turntable together with the parabolic reflector weighs close to 20 kg. If necessary,
please seek help from a second person when unpacking and installing the turntable.
Important
Do not pick the turntable up by the parabolic reflector, since this can cause deformation.
Note
Retain the original packaging, as otherwise if it is necessary to send the unit for repair transport
damage cannot be ruled out, and the manufacturer accepts no liability for possible damage.
1. Pull the turntable out of the packaging as shown in the illustration below.
2. Remove the packing pieces from the turntable

before you transport it to the roof of the vehicle.
3. Loosen the 6 fastening screws (spanner size: 10 mm) which attach the turntable to the mounting plate.
4. Carefully lift the turntable off the mounting plate and place it on the two prepared wooden supports.
When doing this, make sure that the cables are not crushed where they emerge from the underside of
the turntable.
