9. 2

Wischdesinfektion  von
Geräten

Die Außenflächen des Medizinproduktes
mit einem desinfektionsmittelbefeuchteten
Einmaltuch oder mit einem gebrauchsfertigen
getränkten Desinfektionstuch wischend
reinigen. Alkoholbasierte Mittel sind aufgrund
proteinfixierender Wirkung und möglicher
Materialunverträglichkeiten nicht zu verwenden.
Die Angaben des Chemikalienherstellers bezüglich
Materialverträglichkeit sind zu beachten. Am Ende
der Einwirkzeit des Desinfektionsmittels, nach
Herstellerangaben, ist die Oberfläche mit einem
trockenen flusenarmen Tuch nach zu wischen.

NOTE:

The manual ‘Cleaning, Disinfection,

Care, and Sterilization of KARL

Instruments’ can be downloaded or
requested by visiting www.karlstorz.com.

9. 2  Wipe-down disinfection of

devices

Wipe-clean the exterior surfaces of the medical
device with a disposable cloth moistened with
disinfectant or a ready-to-use soaked disinfectant
cloth. Due to their protein-fixating effect and
possible material incompatibility, alcohol-
based agents must not be used. The chemical
manufacturer's specifications regarding material
compatibility must be observed. At the end of the
necessary exposure time for the disinfectant as
specified by the manufacturer, wipe the surface
with a dry low lint cloth.
