6.2 Troubleshooting with displays
Module clones (BR/BD 100/250 R/I)
– Clones and their order are detected during the
self-test.
– If several clones of a module are available (e.g.
A3 and A3/1), the clone order according to the
modular system chapter (Chap 4.1-4.3) must
be adhered to for correct machine function.
However, it is not necessary for clones in the
bus to be inserted directly one after the other.
– The parameters of clones usually differ, alt-
hough the same setting options and selection
parameters are available in the setup menu.
All clones have the same control and
monitoring mechanisms.
