6.1 Troubleshooting without displays
Faults not shown on the
display
Suction beam cannot be
raised/lowered
– Check/replace fuse (F4).
– Lifting mechanism blocked.
– Test microswitch (S30, S31) using test mode/replace.
– Test program selector switch (S9) test mode/replace.
– Test lifting motor (M30) test mode/replace.
– Check cable connections/remove defective cables.
– Test lifting module printed circuit board (A4) test mode/
replace.
Brush head cannot be raised/
lowered
– Check/replace fuse (F4).
– Lifting mechanism blocked.
– Test program selector switch (S9) test mode/replace.
– Test lifting motor (M20) test mode/replace.
– Test lifting module printed circuit board (A4) test mode/
replace.
Brush motor won't start
– Check/replace fuse (F3).
– Test brush motor (M2, M3) using test mode/replace.
– Check cable connections/remove defective cables.
– Test cleaning module printed circuit board (A3) using
test mode/replace.
Poor braking effect
– Test electromagnetic brake (Y1) using test mode/adjust/
replace.
– Test driving module printed circuit board (A2) using test
mode/replace.
Poor cleaning result
– Check brush rollers for foreign bodies.
– Test contact pressure of the brush rollers using test
mode/adjust.
– Suction performance too low (See chapter 6.1.3).
– No or too little water supply (See chapter 6.1.2).
– No or too little cleaning agent supply (See chapter 6.1.2).
