You may edit any section of the file (
[AVP32]
and
[Configuration]
).
The
[AVP32]
section contains the parameter:
DefaultProfile – the profile to be loaded by the program when it starts.
If you
leave it blank the program will load defUnix.prf. If the directory
with Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Sun Solaris Mail Server does not
contain the file, the program will load the default values.
The
[Configuration]
section contains the following parameters:
KeyFile
– the key file (this file is essential for the Scanner to utilize all
its features — see Appendix A).
KeysPath – the directory where your .key files are located.
You may define values for only one of the above parameters,
KeyFile
or
KeysPath
.
SetFile – the name of your .set file (the file containing settings for your virus-
definition databases).
BasePath –
the path to your virus-definition databases. Scanner is
able to load virus-definition databases from any read-accessible
directory, but only if the corresponding path is defined in this line.
If you entered the character "
.
"
in this line or left it blank, the
program will load only the databases located in the same
directory as your Kaspersky Anti-Virus for
Sun Solaris Mail
Server executable files.
It is advisable that you enter an absolute path to the virus-definition
databases, not a relative path.
For your Kaspersky Anti-Virus for
Sun Solaris Mail Server to operate
correctly, make sure to place the initialization file
AvpUnix.ini
in the
directory where the Scanner and the Daemon are located. For
example, if you move your Scanner to a separate directory,
AvpUnix.ini
must be copied to the same directory or the personal
directory of a user authorized to access the Scanner. In this case
